About Us - Fairground

Our Story

At Fairground our kaupapa is a belief in a world where purpose-driven business is business-as-usual. We’re all about mixing good business with social and environmental impact, and are hugely passionate about supporting and growing impact enterprises.

We were born out of the Enspiral network as “Enspiral Accounting” back in April 2012, and are proudly an Enspiral Venture backed by a network of collaborators who are committed to working with organisations with a strong social and environmental purpose.

Social Mission

Our hearts are with helping NFPs, Charities and Impact Enterprises succeed with their own social mission. The small thing we can do to help them succeed is by providing them with awesome accounting advice and support. That’s why we are able to offer these organisations a discount on their fees.

We’ve adopted a “buy one, give one” social enterprise model, so for every business who signs up to our monthly subscription package, this helps fund us to provide purpose driven organisations with discounted services. So by paying your accounting fees, you’re actually helping increase some social and environmental impact!

Our Team

We’re based in Te Whanganui-a-Tara (Wellington) and Ōtautahi (Christchurch) but physical location is no barrier, we can meet online wherever you are!

Charmaine Meyers

Director - Wellington

Charmaine is our Wellington Director. She has a good sense of humor, friendly and is very helpful. Charmaine is most happy when doing good work for our clients and helping to make financial issues less stressful. She is proud of creating Fairground with Antz and seeing the positive impact our clients are making on the world. If she could change the working world, Charmaine would want people to feel more valued in their workplace and like they are making a contribution to doing something good. When not at work, you will find Charmaine walking, hanging out with friends and family, watching Shortland Street or gardening. In her hoodie, Charmaine is ready to begin work!

Anthony Rohan

Director - Christchurch

Antz is our Christchurch Director. Antz is focused, optimistic and a little alternative. He enjoys a nice Belgium beer, DJing or most weekends he’s volunteering with Civil Defence rescue. Just as much as Antz enjoys doing the above, he gets energised from seeing the impactful things our client do through the ventures they set up. If Antz could change the working world, he would like to see tax returns automated so accountants have more time to focus on advising their clients rather than compliance. He’d also like to see everyone receive a living wage. If you prefer to work in jeans, hoodie and sneakers, Antz can 100% relate to you!
